These terms apply to your use of this website, operated by Karuna Mental Health ("Karuna", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Information on this website is general in nature. It is not medical, psychiatric or psychological advice, and it is not a substitute for an assessment by a qualified practitioner. Do not delay seeking care, or change any treatment or medication, because of something you have read here. Using the website, sending an enquiry or having a Karuna Anchoring Call does not by itself create a clinician–patient relationship.

Not every service suits every person. Suitability for any treatment is determined by a qualified clinician after assessment, and individual results vary. Nothing on this site is a promise of any particular outcome.

3. Enquiries and the enquiry form

Our enquiry form and email are not monitored around the clock and are not for urgent help. Please give accurate information and only upload documents you are entitled to share. How we handle what you send is set out in our Privacy Policy.

4. Accuracy and availability

We work to keep the site accurate and current, but services, practitioners, availability, fees and other details can change. We may update or remove content at any time, and we do not guarantee the site will always be available or free of errors.

5. Links to other websites

We link to other organisations, such as crisis services and Anam Cara. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

6. Intellectual property

The content of this site, including text, illustrations, logos and the SWIM & FLOAT™ model, belongs to Karuna or its licensors. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Please do not copy, republish or adapt them for other purposes without our written permission.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the site: for example, by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, or submitting false or offensive information.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Karuna is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, general information on this website. Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
